BetterQuit

Version 1.0  |  BetterQuit App

BetterQuit ("we," "our," "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights. By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

a) Behavioral & Habit Data

To power the App's core features, we collect data you voluntarily log including: urge timestamps and intensity, trigger categories (loneliness, stress, boredom, etc.), daily check-in responses (fap log, workout log, sleep, water intake), focus session outcomes (resisted / relapsed), panic flow usage, and streak data.

b) Fitness & Health Data (Google Fit)

If you enable Google Fit integration, we read daily steps, workout sessions, calories burned, and movement activity. This data is used solely to compute your discipline score and generate pattern insights. We do not store raw Google Fit data on our servers beyond what is needed for this computation.

c) Device & Usage Data

We may automatically collect non-personal technical information: device model, OS version, App version, session timestamps, feature usage patterns, and crash/error logs to improve App stability and performance.

d) Account Information

If you create an account, we collect your chosen username (auto-generated for anonymity), email address, age, and goal selection (fitness, discipline, habit recovery). We do not collect your real name unless you voluntarily provide it.

e) Purchase & Subscription Data

Purchases are handled entirely by Apple's App Store. We receive only limited purchase confirmation data (e.g., subscription status). We do not receive or store your payment card details.

f) Community Content

Text posts you submit to the community feed (max 150 characters) are stored anonymously under your auto-generated username. No personal identifiers are attached to community content.

g) Support Communications

If you contact us, we retain your communication and email address to respond to your inquiry.

h) Website Blocker Logs (Android)

The website blocker uses a local, on-device VPN filter. No browsing data, URLs, or blocked domain logs are transmitted to our servers. All filtering happens entirely on your device.

2. How We Use Your Information

We do not use your behavioral, fitness, or urge data to serve ads, build advertising profiles, or sell insights to third parties — under any circumstances.

3. Legal Basis for Processing

4. Data Storage & Security
